Macbeth

Combining dance, drama, and juggling, Macbeth brings the eternal themes of ambition, power, corruption, and guilt to this day, while stirring up also the gender roles of the original play. Each member of the seven-strong cast is sharing the leading role, becoming both subject and object to the narrative.

This multidisciplinary adaptation of the Shakespeare classic is a coproduction between Tero Saarinen Company and TTT-Theatre, a leading Finnish drama theatre.

“Finnish choreographer Tero Saarinen’s bracing dance-theatre startles from the start. – Lacerating sound and lighting designs carve up the action on stage in a production that continually finds fresh perspectives on familiar scenes. – An arrestingly modern vision.”- The Guardian
