Pulse 2026

For the 14th time, PAHN – Performing Arts Hub Norway, with support from The Royal Norwegian Consulate General in New York, is proud to present Norway Now 2026 in collaboration with La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.

Some of Norway’s most prominent performing artists are presented, carefully selected in collaboration with our esteemed international jury: Ron Berry, founder and Co-Artistic Director of Fusebox Festival, and Iris Nemani, arts administrator, curator, producer, and Director at Stanford Live.

For almost one and a half decades, Norway Now has been a vital platform for North American presenters to discover a diverse array of independent Norwegian artists creating innovative works in dance, theatre, puppetry, multidisciplinary and performance art. The program has achieved remarkable success, fostering connections by bringing North American presenters to Norway to experience work firsthand and facilitating tours of Norwegian companies across North America.

This year, we present 12 companies and artists during our pitch session for tour-ready projects. We are thrilled to share this year’s program and introduce the highlights from the Norwegian performing arts scene, in collaboration with La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.
